Reporting to the Senior Planning and Master Data Manager, the Master Planner is responsible for monitoring the assembly line. 

As part of your daily work, you would have to: 

  • Planning and management of the bus assembly line follow-up; 

  • Monitoring the progress of vehicles on the bus assembly line ; 

  • Analyze problematic parts on the production line and perform problem solving 

  • Create a master production plan that takes into account all important supply and demand aspects, such as anticipated customer demand, facility capacity, manufacturing costs, inventory targets, and inputs from business units. 

  • Keep the master production plan up to date at all times and distribute to all stakeholders a summary with key statistics (forecast, planned production, and projected inventory). 

  • Make sure master data is set up correctly and searches for ongoing upgrades 

  • Provides raw material requirements and forecasting data based on the demands of the production of intermediate and finished items in collaboration with MRP raw material planning, procurement, and suppliers. encourages adherence to the operational procurement process. 

  • In close collaboration with all significant business stakeholders, works cross-functionally to balance supply and demand requirements, address problems, and optimize product flow and inventories. 

  • Monitors, tracks, and reports both leading and lagging KPIs for the relevant regions. 

  • Weekly supply reviews are held to report on KPIs, identify risks or areas for concern, suggest ways to address those risks, elevate past-due actions that are negatively impacting the business, solicit feedback from other functions, and publish meeting minutes. 

  • Evaluates risks, gaps, or upside potential, and suggests alternatives to lower risk

Qualifications 

  • 1-3 years equivalent experience in Supply Chain management skills, complemented by manufacturing and distribution processes understanding 

  • Knowledge of Lean methodologies 

  • Strong analytical skills 

  • Knowledge of an integrated management system (ERP)is an asset 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
